Dee Henderson is the author of many fiction novels. She writes Christian fiction and romantic suspense, and she has written multiple New York Times and USA Today bestselling novels. 

Henderson grew up in Illinois as the daughter of a pastor and began writing at a young age. She attended The University of Illinois and graduated with a B.S. in computer science, then spent 10 years as an engineer before switching over to writing in 1996. 

Henderson’s first book, The Marriage Wish, came out in 1998. She kept writing stories, and in 2012 she wrote her first bestselling novel, Full Disclosure. Henderson still lives in Illinois today, frequently attending her childhood church and continuing to write.

Danger In The Shadows

Danger In The Shadows is a prequel to Henderson’s popular O’Malley series, and it follows a woman named Sara. She is falling in love with Adam Black, a former football player who is very well known.

Though it should be exciting, this new love terrifies Sara. After all, she has been hidden away in the witness protection program, relying on laying low to stay alive. Falling in love with such a popular man is extremely dangerous, but Sara can’t help herself.

The Negotiator

The Negotiator is the first in the O’Malley series, and if you’ve read Danger In The Shadows, you’ll recognize FBI agent David Richman. When David meets Kate O’Malley, a hostage negotiator, he begins to fall in love with her. And when Kate is in danger, David knows he’ll do anything to keep her safe.

The O’Malley series follows the members of the O’Malley family. There are 7 in total, and all of them were left without families as teenagers. These people decided to form a family of their own, creating the name “O’Malley” and vowing to stick together through moments of pain and joy.
